- Homeowner’s insurance to amount of homestead exemption claimed
Pensions for firefighters, police officers, public employees. Other pensions needed for support. Aid to blind, aged, disabled, AFDC.
Personal Property
- Personal property such as furnishings, books, clothing, pets etc., to a total of $4,000 (including one firearm, and sentimental items to $500 each)
- Any tools of trade (uniforms, tools for occupation, etc.) up to $1,000
- Arms, uniforms, etc. for any peace officer or military personnel
- Building materials
- Burial plots
- Crops on up to 50 acres
- One automobile for personal use, not to exceed a value of $1,500
