1. The Basic Information on Your Credit Report

   -- Your Identity
   • Complete name and all aliases, including maiden name
   • Current and previous addresses (usually for the past seven years)
   • Vital stats: Social Security Number, Date of Birth
   • The same information on your spouse if you have one
   • Current and past employers (usually for the past seven years)

2. The Credit Information on Your Credit Report

• Bank accounts of all types
• Loans listed by type (student loan, mortgage, revolving credit, installment loan, etc.)
• Dates you opened each credit account
• Credit limits on each credit account
• Your payment history on each account
• Names of any co-signers on each account
• Any default information
• Any record of collection agencies used for accounts

3. Public Record Information on Your Credit Report

   • Court records on bankruptcy, tax liens and judgments against you

4. Who is Interested in What Is on Your Credit Report

   • The names of anyone who has asked for a copy of your credit report in the last one or two years
